Call The Close

Refunds

Last updated 23 August 2026

Nothing here costs money, so there is nothing to refund. Call The Close takes no payment of any kind and holds no card details.

What a claim costs

Calls. Everyone gets three a day, free, and they reset at the bell. An unclaimed price costs one call; a price someone already holds costs one more than they spent on it. Calls cannot be bought, sold, transferred or cashed out, and they have no value outside the board.

Playing every session and finishing well earn a few more — that is the only way the number moves.

Being outbid

Anyone can take a price you hold by spending one more call than you did, right up until 9:29 AM ET. When that happens you stop holding the price and the calls you spent are not returned. You can take it back at the next rung, or claim a different price for one call.

This is stated in plain words directly above the claim button, every time, before anything is spent.

Unused calls

They expire at the bell and do not roll over. Nothing is owed for a call you did not spend, because nothing was paid for it.

A voided day

If a session is voided — no official closing value, or a fault serious enough that the day cannot be settled fairly — nothing scores and every hand is marked returned. There is no money involved either way.

Questions

Write to . Nearly every question is answerable from the public record, which shows the exact second each hand was taken and by whom.
